Speroni Week rolls on here at FYP and today we have Lee Richardson with a quick article on how he got into a weekly ritual of proclaiming his love for Jules.
I'm not sure exactly when I started shouting "I love you Julian" at Speroni, but I do know why.
After he made yet another worldy save during a game a few years back I just couldn't hold it in any longer. "I LOVE YOU!" I shouted at the top of my extremely loud voice and half of the Whitehorse looked up at me.
At the time I thought it would be a one off, but in the following game he inevitably saved another certain goal and saved Palace another point or three so off I went again and again what seemed like the whole end stared at me.
After that I made it a fortnightly event.
When Jules came out for the second half, I'd choose a moment and shout. The Whitehorse would cheer and he would acknowledge me with a wave.
I sometimes see Argentina's top goalkeeper before games at Selhurst and he always says hello and shakes my hand.
Will I be carrying on with this lung busting tradition this forthcoming season? You bet I will.
Oh and in case I wasn't clear...I love Julian.
